At Copenhagen Business School (CBS), you can choose between 18 bachelor programmes, more than 30 graduate programmes and PhDs each with their own specialisation. Our programmes have a strong and internationally renowned research base, and you will find a number of programmes combining business studies with politics, sociology, language, IT, communication and more.
All CBS programmes have an extra dimension that goes beyond skills and qualifications; a set of capabilities that our students acquire simply by studying at CBS. You will learn how you can contribute to solving societal challenges in a way that is positive for both yourself, for others and the planet. You will also learn how to stay ahead in a future that is unpredictable and ever changing.
CBS also has a variety of partnering companies within the Danish business society, giving students the opportunity to work with, and collaborate on, real-life business cases, while also building career relations. Through career counselling, company events and fairs, CBS builds bridges between students and the business society and helps you get on track to your future career.
By studying at CBS, you will be part of a vibrant campus where students and employees prioritise a high academic level as well as student well-being, and where courses are rooted in sustainability. CBS unites more than 23,000 students from different backgrounds and with different perspectives. The 130 plus student organisations give our students a great opportunity to socialise and discuss topics of interest ranging from student politics to sports and crafts.
Although Danish might seem difficult, both CBS and Copenhagen are easy to navigate as internationals form a significant part of society in the city and most Danes speak English. While studying at CBS you will both see and experience a collaborative working culture and Danish national culture, including Danish “hygge”. Every year 1,200 full-degree students and 1,000 exchange students from more than 50 countries around the world are welcomed to CBS, making internationals a natural part of campus culture. Therefore, different perspectives and culture are frequently put into the context of both academic and social life on campus.

By working with measurements of cost, performance and risk, you will learn to identify strategic challenges within organisations, and to design the proper course of action and incentive structures to respond to them. This understanding of numbers and their organisational role will facilitate the implementation of company strategy and value creation.
The focus of the programme is on driving the company towards its goals by making its strategy operational. There is a big difference between making a strategy and making it happen. Often this process is made difficult by vaguely defined goals or differences in perception of the strategy throughout the organisation. You will learn how to deal with these challenges by interpreting the strategy, breaking it down into smaller parts and making the goals concrete and measurable.

The programme is broad, but leaves room for specialisation within different sectors, public or private. The internship will be a good chance to pursue personal interests.
